George Formby Society Online Shop Statement
Please note that from Wednesday, 9 September 2026, the online George Formby Society Shop will no longer be able to accept orders. From that date, until further notice, sales will be available only at George Formby Society conventions. Unfortunately, no one has come forward to manage the shop so the online service will cease at the end of the day of Wednesday, 9 September 2026. In the meantime, GFS President Andrew Poppleton will run the convention shop. Kathryn Pollard will be in charge of the shop at the September 2026 Blackpool Convention, after which Andrew will take over. His first convention in charge will be the November 2026 Nottingham meeting. Full details of future conventions are available at this link. Kathryn and Peter would like to sincerely thank all our online customers, both members and non-members, for their wonderful support of the GFS Shop and the George Formby Society over the years.
